In the year 2003 the aviation world celebrated the 100th birthday of the first powered and controlled flight ever. The new control tower at Luxembourg airport was taken into operation in June 1993, thus celebrating its 10th birthday.

To commemorate both events the LUXEMBOURG GUILD of AIR TRAFFIC CONTROLLERS edited a limited series ATC watch, baring both the Luxembourg ATC and GUILD logo. This watch, of which only 50 were made, was produced in Russia at the well known POLJOT (which means FLIGHT in russian) manufacture and carries a swiss made mechanic automatic caliber ETA 2824-2 in a 40 mm stainless steelcase, waterresistant up to 10 ATM. The steelcase bottom is out of glass, to see the beautiful caliber work.

The watch is presented in a leather box including instruction manual in English and Russian and a certificate of the LUXEMBOURG ATC GUILD stating its origin, serial number and edition purpose.
